Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws spoke with Perzik founder Astrid Lucy about the original platform, why she created it, allowing everything from artistic nudity to more explicit content, and giving members control over what they wanted to see.

The article described Perzik as a Belgian online platform celebrating bodies in different shapes and sizes, and looked at how the platform approached safety while allowing content that mainstream social networks censor.
